Hero's Final Smash does not currently have a known name.
Overview
In this Final Smash, the Hero slashes upwards, before the remaining non-playable Dragon Quest Heroes (in order of appearance, the Heroes from II, V, VI, VII, X, IX, and I) appear, and gather their weapons together, shooting energy upwards into the air, with the energy charging the playable Hero's sword, who then attacks with an outwards slash.
Origin
The outwards slash greatly resembles Gigaslash, a powerful, recurring ability in the Dragon Quest series, first seen in Dragon Quest V (or possibly its enhanced form Gigagash, introduced in Dragon Quest VIII). It deals immense magic damage (despite its name suggesting a physical attack) on a single group of enemies.
Trivia
- The Hero from Dragon Quest V is the only Hero that is not depicted welding a sword. He instead wields a staff.
