Jigglypuff (プリン, Purin) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It was confirmed on June 12th, 2018.
Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4
Aesthetics
- Jigglypuff's ears now fold slightly inward when using Rollout.
Aerial Attacks
Special Moves
- When using an uncharged Rollout, Jigglypuff will only roll once, speeding up the animation. This improves its safety.
- Rest now activates a dramatic slow motion effect upon hitting.
- When Puff Up ends, Jigglypuff aesthetically "pops", and then deflates to normal size, mimicking a balloon. It also has an angry expression while inflating, rather than having its mouth gaping open.
- Jigglypuff shrinks much faster at the end of Puff Up.
- Rest is now even more unsafe due to the shortening of Screen KOs, giving players that get Screen KO'd a chance to punish Jigglypuff. This results in what is now a 2/3 chance of Jigglypuff being punished (with only Star KOs leaving Jigglypuff safe).
