Shortly after, some guys such as MHStarCraft, Starman, DoctorPain99, Conny, JamesHeart, Timson, and Scr7 eventually formed an IRC group around that term. The Tech skill crew, or TSC for short, was an online crew that ran from 2013-2015. They are notably known for the quote, "X person does not have tech skill because he/she is Nintendo."

After a brief inactive period in 2016 and most of 2017, the TSC got back together in October 2017 through Discord.
