== Assuming bad faith ==
So as you've told me, you thought that what Alex initially said to you was bad faith. Well, I'm sorry to tell you, but that's where your first mistake was: failure to [[SW:AGF|assume good faith]]. And it's unfortunate, but it all spiraled downhill from there. Now do you see why assuming bad faith is a bad idea? Assuming bad faith should never be done for anything but vandalism, and even then, it should not be done lightly. If there is even the tiniest shred of doubt in the back of your mind about it being bad faith, it shouldn't be treated as bad faith. Take [https://www.ssbwiki.com/index.php?title=Bowser&diff=prev&oldid=979304 this edit], for instance. It looks like it might have been vandalism. But sometimes animals do voice roles, so I instead removed it under the grounds of it being speculative trivia. No bad faith.
I'm not saying that it's all your fault or that you started it. It's just that even if what Alex did is unacceptable, you're not completely blameless in this. So in the future, please try to keep in mind that you must ALWAYS assume good faith, because you have found out the hard way what the consequences of assuming bad faith are.
