So as you've told me, you thought that what Alex initially said to you was bad faith. Well, I'm sorry to tell you, but that's where your first mistake was: failure to [[SW:AGF|assume good faith]]. And it's unfortunate, but it all spiraled downhill from there. Now do you see why assuming bad faith is a bad idea? Assuming bad faith should never be done for anything but vandalism, and even then, it should not be done lightly. If there is even the tiniest shred of doubt in the back of your mind about it being bad faith, it shouldn't be treated as bad faith.
