Super Leaf: Difference between revisions

If Peach uses it, then her own float ability will activate first. As soon as she stops using her float ability, or its time runs out, then the Super Leaf's effect will become active.

Super Leaves first appeared in ''{{s|supermariowiki|Super Mario Bros. 3}}'' as a power-up item and have returned in ''{{s|mariowiki|Super Mario 3D Land}}'' and numerous games since. It turned Mario and Luigi into {{s|mariowiki|Raccoon Mario}} and Raccoon Luigi, respectively ({{s|mariowiki|Tanooki Mario}} and Kitsune Luigi in ''{{s|mariowiki|Super Mario 3D Land}}'' and ''{{s|mariowiki|Super Mario 3D World}}''), which gave them the ability to fly by waving their tail. It also allowed the player to slow descent, also by waving the tail, and to attack enemies by swinging their tail. The design of the leaf itself is based around their recent redesign in ''Mario'' games. Its functions in ''Super Smash Bros. 4'' are similar; it gives fighters raccoon ears and a tail like Raccoon Mario, and allows the player to slow his or her fall, like in the ''Mario'' series. However, it does not allow the character to fly after running far enough or attack with the tail.
