I mostly make edits to pages that are incomplete, need to be reorganised or lack information that I find important. Other than that I rarely make huge edits as the pages I'm interested in tend to have enough information, albeit I've still made some (especially here). I can also easily help others with work if they want, and conveniently, I am a pretty fast typer without commiting too many typos.
I tend to be a quiet person, talking only when I find it necessary or when I find something I'm interested in. I will always respond to any personal message, though. You can also find me easily on the SmashWiki Discord.
In videogames, I appreciate variety over anything else. In the case of Smash, I prefer the games with more playable characters and more possible matchups, rather than those with a highly developed metagame yet such a narrow viable roster. (TL;DR: I prefer SSB4 over Melee, though I don't hate the latter. I'm allowed to post opinions on wikis, right?)
There are, however, afewcharacters in the Smash series that I heavily dislike. They do not bring anything interesting to the game in my opinion, they can't do anything better than the rest of the roster, and they feel neither fun nor rewarding to play. I would prefer if they were cut in a next installment. But well, at least they aren't annoying top tiers. I also think Pokémon Trainer was a terrible idea (though this isn't surprising among competitive players), although I'm okay with the three Pokémon as their own characters.
When it comes to competitive play in videogames, I'm the kind of person that has fun by testing how good I am against other players, and always prefer skill-based mechanics over luck-based ones. I don't really enjoy games where you're going to unexpectedly and randomly lose no matter how much time you spend improving. (Unless it's a 100% casual game without deep mechanics like Mario Party, of course.)
I love dinosaurs, as if that wasn't obvious already. I perfectly respect people who don't like them, though.
Important note: For abbreviating my name, you can use Draco, DRex, DracoRex or similar names, but please never use DRK. That sounds awkward and meaningless.
I'm also a huge enthusiast on the Pokémon games. The game I play the most frequently is Pokémon Omega Ruby, and I also play on the online simulator Pokémon Showdown.
My favorite Pokémon of all time is Groudon, present on my profile, my signature, and as a large scale figure in my room. It was formerly Nidoking, but my love for dinosaurs got too stronk.
Spanish is my mother language. I started learning English when I was 5 by translating words from my videogames with the help of books or online translators, to the point I knew to write and speak English in full lines when I was 9. What further taught me subsequently was visiting internet websites in English like this wiki, and figuring out how things were worded. As of now, I still thank videogames for this.
Something that also aided me a lot in this was a Pokémon Handbook I had in Spanish with all the locations, types and attacks existing in Gen I, which I used to compare the names with the English ones in Pokémon Stadium, thus enabling me to translate words very quickly (e.g. "tipo Fantasma" to "Ghost-type", and "Lanzallamas" to "Flamethrower").
I learned to read at the age of 4 thanks to interactive PC games.
I play all Smash games so far with Gamecube controllers (Smash 3DS being the obvious exception). In the case of SSB, I play it on Project 64 with a software enabling me to use the Wii U Gamecube Adapter on my PC.
My original game tag when I started playing the Smash games competitively was "Yesz!", as an anonymous joke name alluding to the amazing Captain I second in Melee. This was also the name I used for other games that require such, like the Zelda and Pokémon games. I then changed it to "DREX" or "DracoRex", though in SSB4 it's "^RAWR^".
My favorite color is red. Which makes Groudon even more appealing.
Among a few people, I'm known for enthusiastically watching obscure anthropomorphic dinosaur shows from before the 2000s, with Extreme Dinosaurs being a prime example. One of my impossible dreams is to have a modern game with dinosaurs as major protagonists...
