#'''Still a major oppose''' Ultimately, I still see no reason to fix what isn't broken. There's a lot of factors here, but the main one is that we barely ever get anyone on the IRC to begin with. I mean, if we did move to Discord, there is a chance we'd get more people, but one thing I feel is necessary to point out is that Serpent King at one point tried to put together a SmashWiki Discord and that fell through. What it boils down to, quoting something Toomai said one time, all the arguments boil down to are "Discord is new and improved" while "the IRC is well-established and popular". New doesn't always mean better, and, as someone who uses Discord, I still don't think Discord's good enough for a new SW IRC yet. It's getting close to what I'd prefer it to be, but it may still take another year. Maybe more, maybe less.
