Tournament Summary
Some notable upsets occured at this tournament. Mango who at the time came was a Jigglypuff main on the come up beat Mew2King in pools, then considered to be the best player in the world. Mew2King then lost to Chillin in the losers top 8 qualifier to finish at a underwhelming 9th place. Mango continued his run by upsetting Ken in winners-semis. He then lost to HugS in winners finals and Ken in a losers finals rematch to finish at 3rd place. Ken after getting upset by Mango made a losers run beating ChuDat, PC Chris, Mango, and HugS in 2 sets of grand finals to win the tournament. After the tournament many analysts wrote off Mangos win against Mew2King as a fluke because it was a best of 1 until his win at Pound 3.
