:The problem with this is that XL can't tell what's an interwiki link and what's a namespace link because they use the same syntax. I'm not currently sure if there's a way to deal with that without doing one pass for each interwiki prefix (which is probably not a good idea). That said, it may be possible to create a list of pages where we can assume every such link is interwiki, and tell it to only work on that list.
