Board the Platforms was a mode in the original Smash Bros. game that was similar to Break the Targets. Unfortunately the mode was abandoned in Melee. In this mode the combatant would maneuver through a series of obstacles in order to jump on all ten platforms. Each character had their own unique obstacle course to maneuver. The platforms themselves were yellow with a red blinking light in the center until stepped on, then the light would blink blue. Stage 8 of One Player Mode was Board the Platforms.
Board the Platforms is a 1-player mini-game in Super Smash Bros., in which the player must land on ten platforms, scattered throughout a custom stage, as quickly as possible. It did not return in Super Smash Bros. Melee, nor is it in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
