When Lightning Strikes is a single-player event match in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The player controls Pikachu, and must defeat 3 Giant Pikachus. The player can collect Lightning Bolts to shrink the Giant Pikachus for an easier K.O. Clearing this event will unlock Pokémon Stadium 2.
Trivia
- This event is similar to the Brawl's Co-Op Event 4: The DK Tag Calamity where players can collect lightning bolts to shrink larger opponents.
