Right, so if these were introduced in Melee, what the heck were those Side Special moves in 64? An example is Pikachu's, which was similar to a volt tackle. You mashed the joystick to the side and he launched head-first in that direction, charged with electricity. All 10 characters had one. I don't mean side-A either, I mean side-B. :You are mistaken in several ways - Pikachu has no such move in SSB64 (unless you're thinking of his up special aimed sideways), and there are 12 characters not 10.
