X Bomb: Difference between revisions

The origin of the X Bomb is currently somewhat unclear. The Miiverse post that revealed it claims that it originates from ''[[icaruspedia:Kid Icarus: Uprising|Kid Icarus: Uprising]]'', where it was an item that Pit could throw at opponents, which then fires four balls of energy in a cross pattern that proceed to bounce around. However, the item's apparent behaviour in ''SSB4'' is to deal instant damage along two diagonal lines; this behaviour instead originates from the ''[[wikipedia:Meteos|Meteos]]'' series (which predates ''Uprising''), where the X Bomb would destroy all Meteos diagonal to itself upon detonation. Despite this, the Miiverse post specifically says the X Bomb is not from ''Meteos''. Further clouding the issue, the design of the bomb itself has yet to be seen.
