Pikachu (ピカチュウ, Pikachū) will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4.
Confirmed information
- Pikachu's appearance has been updated to match the newest Pokémon games (such as PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure) and the Pokémon anime; its model has been altered, and continues the trend of being gradually less chubby with each additional appearance.
- Pikachu can still crawl.
- The following moves are visually unchanged:
- Neutral attack
- Forward tilt
- Dash attack
- Neutral aerial
- Thunder Jolt
- Skull Bash
- Quick Attack
- Thunder
- Down taunt
- Side taunt
