ESAM is a South Carolina player, considered one of the best players in the United States, who is the top Pikachu main and one of the top Ice Climbers mains in Brawl. He is Nick Riddle's younger brother as well. He is a member of the Brawl Back Room, a former member of the Unity Ruleset Committee, and the host of the Zero Ping monthly series (located in Hollywood, Florida). ESAM also frequently commentates on the livestream at tournaments. He placed 4th at Apex 2012, defeating one of the top Japanese players, Kakera before losing to Nietono in the loser's bracket. His match with Kakera ended in two of the most famous Ice Climbers ditto matches in Brawl tournament history. He has also defeated Vinnie 3-0 with his Ice Climbers at SKTAR, earning his first victory over him. ESAM won his first singles national tournament in August 2012 at WHOBO 4, in which he also placed second in doubles, teaming with MVD.
ESAM is currently ranked at the 0 position on both the Florida and North Carolina Brawl Power Rankings.
