:Every character can beat every character, remember that. For some it is easy and for others it is hard, but the point is that it is possible. Say a Mario player is fighting a Snake player. The Mario player will fight him differently than he would fight someone like Bowser or Yoshi because Snake has the supreme advantage over him. That means the Mario player will spam moves like fireball and b-air because all of his other moves < Snake's. Sakurai may have failed, but in every game, every character stands a chance.
