So, I came here to say this, because King Dedede kind of started off as a solo fighter clone of the Ice Climbers, because he has a Hammer like the Icies. Here are the possible moves of King Dedede that are similar or has the same concept to the Ice Climbers: 1st and 2nd hit of his jab (being downward and upward after), All of his Smash Attacks (with up smash being conceptually the same, except that he didn’t jump like the climbers), Pummel and Forward throw. I don’t know if these moves count and I’m sure that most of these moves are different by their frame data and animation, but that’s a stretch. :It is indeed a stretch. King Dedede is nothing like the Ice Climbers. Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 17:03, October 12, 2023 (EDT)

:By that logic, all sword fighters are clones of each other and all brawlers are clones of each other. Just because two characters use a similar weapon doesn't mean they are clones. == Jigglypuff/Kirby in Ultimate ==
Even though it's literally obvious that Jigglypuff is not Kirby at all, I believe it's worth mentioning in the Notes section that they share a down aerial, up tilt, forward smash, and kind of the down smash.

:It's mentioned in trivia already that Puff was originally a semi-clone of Kirby back in 64 and has been basically fully decloned so I think it's unnecessary and redundant to mention that just because they still have some similar moves. == Pichu and Pikachu & Aegis ==
I'm pretty sure Pichu and Pikachu's forward tilts can be considered similar enough to be called a clone move. Though it has been changed in animation, the general idea is the same- "the rat electro-kicks you with its hind legs". The only differences are that Pichu swings his legs around, rather than a single kick, meaning there is two hitboxes, as well as the fact that Pika's is angleable. Though this isn't really that influencial and I don't think they're THAT similar, I am just mentioning it. I also think that Mythra and Pyra's neutral specials can be considered similar as well. They follow "charging, and then doing a powerful multi-hit spin". Though they may not be the same, I think it definitely follows the same idea.

:I agree with Pikachu's and Pichu's forward tilts, but Pyra and Mythra's neutral specials is a stretch. == Found more differences of Ganondorf in SSBM ==
I think Ganondorf has even more animations that are slightly different from Falcon’s two of those being Dash Attack having Ganon’s left arm being more closer to his Right arm and his Jab having do a Palm thrust rather than a Punch. == Is Ike considered a "clone?" ==
Ike's Neutral and Down Specials are identical to Marth, Lucina, Roy, and Chrom's. Do you think he is considered a "clone?" Gorilli09 (talk) 22:26, December 13, 2024 (EST)
:Even with the similarities between those two moves (though calling the neutral special identical is a bit arguable), Ike has unique side and up specials, a unique Final Smash, and doesn't share a single normal with the rest of the Fire Emblem cast. Having two moves in common doesn't make a clone. <span style="color: red;">Aidan</span> <span style="color: green;">the Festive Gamer</span> 23:28, December 13, 2024 (EST)
:That would be like calling Lucario a Mewtwo clone because they have similar neutral specials or calling King Dedede a Kirby clone because they have similar neutral specials and a chargeable hammer special move. As Aidanzapunk stated, having one or two similar moves doesn't make a character a clone. == Not Captain Inkling? ==
So last time, I told you about that Captain Falcon was used as a base for Inkling and guess what I found more evidence that Inkling is used as a base for a different character that also isn’t Mario, and that is Mii Gunner!
I mean there are evidence to proved that Mii Gunner was Inkling’s base because of more similar animations.
Jab 1
Jab 2
Back Aerial
Down Aerial (Kind of?)
Down Throw
Wall Jump animation
Floor Attacks (Kind of?)
Edge Attack (Kind of?)
In Conclusion, Mii Gunner is somewhat used as a Base for Inkling and not Mario just because of similar attributes. 112.204.162.242 02:54, January 7, 2025 (EST)
:I don't think just because there are similar animations doesn't directly mean Inkling is based from Mii Gunner. It's not noteworthy enough that they share similar animations. If more evidence is found maybe. I'm not an admin here so I don't know if this should be added or not.
