Tournament:DELTA 7.5: Difference between revisions

Prior to the event, two of the LumiRanked players, would dq, {{Sm|KEN}}, the 1st seed, due to fatigue, and {{Sm|Oi, George}} for undisclosed reasons. This would open up KEN's portion of the bracket, which would be taken advantage of by {{Sm|Marcos|p=Kanto}}.

2nd seed {{Sm|Umeki}}, would be upset by {{Sm|Leaf|p=Japan}} at the start of the winners side of top 48. Leaf would go on to upset 7th seed, {{Sm|Gorioka}}, 8th seed {{Sm|huto}}, and 9th seed {{Sm|Eik}} en route to placing 3rd.  

3rd seed, {{Sm|Toriguri}} would lose both in pools to {{Sm|Natsu}}, and in their winners top 8 qualifying match to {{Sm|uame}}. uame, would had already upset the 6th seed {{Sm|Taikei}} would go onto win the event after beating the after mentioned Leaf and double eliminating {{Sm|Rimu}}.

The tournaments 4th seed, {{Sm|Yamanaction}} stated top 48 in losers after being upset in group stage by {{Sm|Kuribon}}, which consequentially meant that Rimu finished ahead of him by game count. While Yamanaction would win 3 sets in losers, he would eventually be upset by the 16th seed {{Sm|tameigo}} to finish 13th.

Rimu, would place 2nd as the 29th seed by defeating other players that had made upsets. Including {{Sm|Maipan}} who upset {{Sm|kept}} and {{Sm|akasa}} in group stage to make it out in winners, {{Sm|Futari no Kiwami Ah~!}}, who had upset the 5th seed {{Sm|M0tsunabE}} (who has been using {{SSBU|Sora}}), Marcos who made it out of group stage in winner by taking advantage of KEN's DQ and by upseting {{Sm|Ly}}, and following it up in winners by upsetting Eik, and Leaf who's run was already mentioned.  

One final run worth mentioning is {{Sm|Wanipachi}}, who as the 67th seed, finished 13th after making it out in losers, by upsetting {{Sm|TKM}} in group stage, and by winning 4 sets in losers, most notably beating the 19th seed {{Sm|sssr}}.
