Domo is a Japanese smasher, and is widely considered Japan's best Melee Ice Climbers player along with Karasawa and Watch. Video footage of his performances has been difficult to find, but western Climbers enthusiasts agree that no other player out of Japan has shown a comparable level of aptitude. Domo is also a player of Brawl.
Style of Play[edit]
Domo plays a desync-oriented game with a polished technique. Unlike notable Ice Climbers main ChuDat, Domo relies very little on chaingrabbing tactics and instead explores the variety of approaches offered by Popo and Nana behaving independently.
Certain elements of Domo's desynchronization mastery, such as the advancing short hop desynched Ice Shots, would ultimately contribute to a deeper exploration of the potential continous desync in the 2006 Canadian tutorial video, Two Climbers, Two Hands.
Though unconfirmed by the community at large, a video of famous Yoshi player Fumi against an unnamed Ice Climbers player is suspected to be Domo. He typically plays in the green Popo costume.
