The tournament is Europe's first major event of the season and featured several notable international players, including {{Sm|Sparg0}}, {{Sm|MkLeo}}, and {{Sm|MKBigBoss}}. This is also notably the first international event for {{Sm|Marss}} and {{Sm|ChunkyKong}}. In addition, the winners of {{Trn|Valhalla IV}} and {{Trn|GENESIS X}} were invited to the event, with the winner of the latter event getting the first seed. {{Sm|Zomba}} won both events, however he declined both invitations, and as such the invitation was passed on to the next available player who was not already registered, that being {{Sm|Lancelot}} for the former and {{Sm|Neo|p=Japan}} for the latter. Finally, this event was notably missing {{Sm|Glutonny}}, who decided to take a break from events after traveling for the last few weeks to Japan and GENESIS X.

MkLeo won the event, beating {{Sm|ApolloKage}} in Winners' Quarters, {{Sm|Raflow}} in Winners' Finals, and Sparg0 in Winners' Semifinals and Grand Finals. This was notably his first major win since {{Trn|GENESIS 9}} one year prior, and his first B+ tier or higher win since {{Sm|Wavedash 2023}} eight months prior. This was also the third major of 2024 with at least one of the [[Four Horsemen]] in attendance that was won by someone outside of the Four Horsemen. Raflow placed 3rd while being the #9 seed, only losing to MkLeo and Sparg0. Bloom4Eva placed 4th, his first Top 4 at a major since {{Trn|Ultimate Fighting Arena 2022}} over a year prior. KID placed 5th as the #29 seed, upsetting {{Sm|Oryon}} and MKBigBoss to make Winners' side of Top 8. Though Neo won six sets through Losers' side, we was defeated by Sparg0 at 5th place. Oryon defeated #6 seed ApolloKage 3-2 (upset factor 4) before losing to Bloom4Eva at 7th place. #5 seed Sisqui would be upset by both #12 seed MKBigBoss and #31 seed MazeBeans to be eliminated at 17th place. #23 seed {{Sm|Flow}} upset #4 seed Marss 3-1 (upset factor 5), eliminating him at 17th place.
