Hi there this is my first time writing a proposal. So this is about smasher's infobox, we have been putting cleanup tags for smasher pages that are too difficult to have the characters cleaned up immediately. So since I got shouted out, how about creating a template that distinguishes the normal cleanup that has to do with paragraphs/sections with the actual infobox cleanup, and call it "chars" or something. Yeah I know that a bunch of infoboxes were already cleaned up but it could still come in handy. There are other variations of the cleanup template such as Template:Tone that isn't used that many times. The template should show something like "This smasher article may require a cleanup to its infobox due to excessive characters listed". :I don't deal with the competitive side of the wiki, so I won't give a vote one way or the other, but I wanted to voice that I think a different name may be better. Perhaps t:Char-cleanup to match t:Competitive-stub and t:Smasher-stub. ::Yeah, that sounds good. Actually there is a Template:Characters already so maybe it would be confusing to just name it chars. And because of the distinction, there needs to be a new cleanup category. Possibly name it "Smasher articles requiring infobox cleanup" something like that. Bump, with more clean up tags being added, I can see this becoming necessary as it can conveniently distinguish the infobox cleanup. And the infobox cleanup category should be in the :Category:Meta categories too. Another thing would be the accessibility, since normally you don't know what pages are infobox cleanup just from looking at :Category:Articles in need of cleanup, having an infobox cleanup template can make them easier to access. Since whether your cleanup on the chars are true or not is rather ambiguous and somhow subjective from time to time. It would be useful for people to access to those tagged pages quicker and make use of the talk page to discuss stuffs that can't be cleaned up immediately. I don't deal with the competitive side of the wiki, so I won't give a vote one way or the other, but I wanted to voice that I think a different name may be better. Perhaps t:Char-cleanup to match t:Competitive-stub and t:Smasher-stub. When I think of a Chars template, I imagine something like t:Head that allows for multiple heads like t:StickerHead or t:Sm. --CanvasK (talk) 23:11, May 25, 2022 (EDT)
Yeah, that sounds good. Actually there is a Template:Characters already so maybe it would be confusing to just name it chars. And because of the distinction, there needs to be a new cleanup category. Possibly name it "Smasher articles requiring infobox cleanup" something like that. Grand Dad.png NPM Morr!? NaughtyPigBoi.jpg 01:42, May 26, 2022 (EDT)
Actually I believe that the subcategories can just follow Category:Articles_with_deprecated_code so that just in case if there is like for example a Infobox Tournament Series that needs to be cleaned or something. And maybe we should just call the template Infobox-cleanup instead idk. Grand Dad.png NPM Morr!? NaughtyPigBoi.jpg 03:17, June 2, 2022 (EDT)

Bump, with more clean up tags being added, I can see this becoming necessary as it can conveniently distinguish the infobox cleanup. And the infobox cleanup category should be in the Category:Meta categories too. Grand Dad.png NPM Morr!? NaughtyPigBoi.jpg 13:01, June 9, 2022 (EDT)

Another thing would be the accessibility, since normally you don't know what pages are infobox cleanup just from looking at Category:Articles in need of cleanup, having an infobox cleanup template can make them easier to access.
