Overview
Luigi's Up Special in Smash 4 is the Fiery Jump Punch, Luigi does an uppercut straight up having the strongest hitbox at the start of the move.
Differences from Brawl
- Super Jump Punch gains less vertical distance.
- Super Jump Punch gains less horizontal distance.
- Super Jump Punch gains less distance grounded, allowing a quicker Helpless escape.
- Super Jump Punch's animation does not end if you land on a platform while rotating, leaving Luigi vulnerable if the Super Jump Punch reaches it's peak right above a platform.
Update history
- Super Jump Punch (default) ground sweetspot radius: 1.6 → 1.7.
- Super Jump Punch (default) ground sweetspot z-offset: 6.1 → 7.0.
- Super Jump Punch (default) air sweetspot radius: 2.1 → 2.2.
- Super Jump Punch (default) air sweetspot z-offset: 4.7 → 5.5.
- Super Jump Punch's default grounded hitbox size increased (1.7u → 2.2u).
- Super Jump Punch's default aerial hitbox size increased (2.2u → 2.7u).
