'''<big>Some rules for my talk page:</big>'''
*The obvious stuff:
**When making a new thread, please click "new section" at the top (next to "edit this page") and give the thread a subject. Alternatively, you can click "edit this page" anyway and use four equals signs (====) to name your subject, with the subject name between the second and third equal signs (==Like this==). Just be sure to write everything under the latest discussion topic.
**Please indent your comments with a colon (''':''') when making a reply. The more replies you make to a single thread post, the more colons you should indent with: The first reply should have one, the second one should have two, the third should three, and so on.
**Please sign your comments with four tildes <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>.
**After leaving a message, please check back to my talk page to see if I have responded to you. If I have made a thread on your or another user's talk page, please post your reply there instead of making a new thread about the same topic here.
**[[SW:NPA|No personal attacks]]. Doesn't matter if it's directed towards me or another person, please write your message to be as neutral as possible.
**Please do not [[SmashWiki is not an instant messaging service|use my talk page as a means to chat to me about]] [[SmashWiki is not for off-wiki business|off-wiki business]].
*Some personal rules:
**Please do not ask me to add anything to my personal sandboxes. For my "Ideas" sandboxes, I'm simply not interested in other people's ideas. For the rest, if something new comes out, you don't have to remind me, as it's very much likely I already know about it and it may just be that I don't have the time to update my sandbox(es).
**I have no interest in the competitive side of the ''Super Smash Bros.'' series, so please avoid making any discussions related to it ([[Smasher]] pages, [[tournaments]], [[tier list]]s, etc.).
**Although [[SW:NOT|SmashWiki is not censored]], I'd prefer if you avoid the use of any "derogatory slurs" (specifically, anything relating to race, religion, gender, sexuality, or disabilities), even if the context you use them in is not supposed to be directed towards the group in question.

Hey, I wanted to inform you that I was working on another [[User:Rdrfc/Chronicles]] rewrite of the [[Chronicle]] page; I was focusing on adding an universe column to the tables and then adding interwiki links. If you don't mind, I could merge my work in your subpage.--[[User:Rdrfc|Rdrfc]] ([[User talk:Rdrfc|talk]]) 06:41, May 22, 2020 (EDT)

::Now that you have completed it, is it fine if I go ahead? I know you want to also make the order more accurate to in-game but this is something that can easily be done in-between, considering you would have to check on an actual copy of the game. --[[User:Rdrfc|Rdrfc]] ([[User talk:Rdrfc|talk]]) 09:39, May 25, 2020 (EDT)

The 4 crossevers I added to trivia on the Minecraft page were the 4 games are in both smash and minecraft that wasn't already mentioned. Wasn't planning on doing every single crossover lol. I messed up on the link to them I'll admit that was wrong yeah. [[User:RobbyB3ll4s|RobbyB3ll4s]] ([[User talk:RobbyB3ll4s|talk]]) 21:53, October 20, 2020 (EDT)

== Kappa ==
On the Kappas Tale part of your sandbox, most people won’t know what a kappa (not [[Kappn]] or [[Koopa]]) is  so if you want to you could explain what a kappa is and I think you should mention that Blast corps and jet force Gemini were planned SSBU [[spirits]]. This is not spam. [[Special:Contributions/174.55.24.64|174.55.24.64]] 19:59, October 28, 2020 (EDT)
:Regarding the first question: Eh, I don't feel it's necessary. I think Kappas are pretty well known at this point, and the people who wanna know what they are can just look them up.
:As for the second, I don't feel like mentioning those games' planned content just to be consistent with the other universe sections. == Onsite stock icons ==
I've seen various users on the site with little images next to their names that resemble stock icons from SSB4 or Brawl. How do I change mine? (It's currently just a blue Smash logo but I can't find a way to make it one of my mains like Ludwig or K. Rool. [[User:Samboi123|Samboi123]] ([[User talk:Samboi123|talk]]) 09:23, October 29, 2020 (EDT)
:Alright, it's been a while since I did this, so hopefully this helps:
::First, find the images you want to use in your username signature, save them, and upload them onto the Wiki. Keep in mind that you might get a warning that the upload is a duplicate file, so ignore that. Provided that the image is a duplicate, it's highly preferable to give it a different name than the original file (Something like "SSBWikiUserSig1.png").
<br>
::Second, click on "preferences" at the top right screen (it should be right between "talk" and "watchlist".
<br>
::Third, click on the box next to "Treat signature as wikitext (without an automatic link)" so it is blue with a checkmark. That should make your signature visible.
<br>
::And lastly, type in whatever you want your signature to say. Keep in mind that there is a limit on how many characters you can use (I believe it's 255). Here's an example on how to write one:
::<code><nowiki>[[File:SSBWikiUserSig1.png|20px]][[User:SmashWikiUser|'''Just a SmashWiki User''']][[File:SSBWikiUserSig2.png|20px]]</nowiki></code>
<br>
::As a side bonus, if you want to know how to use color for your username, type in something like this:
::<code><nowiki><span style="color: red;">WHO ATE ALL OF MY CANDY?!!!</span></nowiki></code>
::It should look like this:
::<span style="color: red;">WHO ATE ALL OF MY CANDY?!!!</span>
::Alternatively, if you wanna use more complex colors, type in something like this:
::<code><nowiki><span style="color:#9CCB54">Why am I such as ugly color? This is the worst!</span></nowiki></code> (You might wanna find a color picker site to look for the color you need.)
::It should look like this:
::<span style="color:#9CCB54">Why am I such an ugly color? This is the worst!</span>
:Hope this helps. [[File:SmashTurtlesSig1.png|20px]][[User:SuperSmashTurtles|<span style="color: green;">'''SuperSmashTurtles'''</span>]] of the [[User talk:SuperSmashTurtles|<span style="color: lightgreen;">'''Turtle Tribe'''</span>]][[File:SmashTurtlesSig2.png|20px]] 10:11, October 29, 2020 (EDT)

== iw template ==
The reason why I used <nowiki>{{iw}}</nowiki> [https://www.ssbwiki.com/index.php?title=Ganondorf&curid=617&diff=1502401&oldid=1502366 here] is based on my understanding of [[Template talk:S|<nowiki>{{s}}'s talk page</nowiki>]] and the discussion [[User talk:Aidanzapunk#Interwiki links|on Aidan's talk page]]. My understanding is <nowiki>{{s}} (primarily) is a simple link maker for other namespaces on Smash Wiki, where {{iw}} is for interwiki links</nowiki>. I'm not sure how strict the separation is intended to or should be, but I figured a byte here and there won't hurt anything and '''i'''nter'''w'''iki being shortened to '''iw''' seems more clear to new users. This isn't something I'll fight about, just giving my thought process. --[[User:CanvasK|CanvasK]] ([[User talk:CanvasK|talk]]) 14:21, November 23, 2020 (EST)
== Byte saving ==
I noticed on your sandbox for Spirit Battle stats that you link to the spirits-by-series pages a lot. If you swap them to <nowiki>{{h2}}</nowiki> you'll save about 10k bytes (if I compared correctly). Here's some regex if you want to make the change: Search: <code><nowiki>\[\[([^\[]+)\#([^\[]+)\|\2\]\]</nowiki></code> Replace: <code><nowiki>{{h2|$1|$2}}</nowiki></code>. I'd recommend using something other than the wiki editor for regex replacements on a large page like that one because it can be pretty slow. --[[User:CanvasK|CanvasK]] ([[User talk:CanvasK|talk]]) 05:58, January 6, 2021 (EST)
:Hey, sorry for the very late reply. Anyway, I'm not very familiar with "regax replacing" (this is the first time I'm hearing of it even), so I'm afraid that your suggestion of "using something other than the wiki editor" is too vague for my understanding.
:If you're referring to external extensions, the device I currently have technically isn't mine, so I don't wanna risk adding stuff that the owner(s) might not approve of. [[File:SmashTurtlesSig1.png|20px]][[User:SuperSmashTurtles|<span style="color: green;">'''SuperSmashTurtles'''</span>]] of the [[User talk:SuperSmashTurtles|<span style="color: lightgreen;">'''Turtle Tribe'''</span>]][[File:SmashTurtlesSig2.png|20px]] 02:42, January 8, 2021 (EST)
::Pretty much any text editor. I personally use Notepad++ because it is lightweight and doesn't ask to download anything. Using the wiki editor is fine, I've only run into issues on massive pages like the spirit's complete list. With the wiki editor you'll want the advanced toolbar, click the search button on the top right, click "Treat search string as a '''reg'''ular '''ex'''pression", put the text above into the respective text boxes, and click "Replace All". I don't mind doing it for you if you want. --[[User:CanvasK|CanvasK]] ([[User talk:CanvasK|talk]]) 08:27, January 8, 2021 (EST)
:::Yeah, you can do it all you want. I don't think I'll ever have the time to do it myself. Thanks for the offer, though.
