DYK that the beeps made by Mr. GaW aren't his voice, but merely sound effects? (When you collect a Metal Box, GaW still beeps when attacking, indicating that they're just sound effects. == Past stages ==
did you know that all ten of the series included in SSB64 (donkey kong, yoshi, metroid, pokemon, zelda, mario, earthbound, kirby, star fox and F-zero) all have past stages in Brawl. They are the only ones to have a past stage. Also, they all have at least two stages representing their series in melee. Agian, they are the only ones to do so.

== Alternate way to change the stock/time in Versus mode ==
When on the character roster in a regular Brawl, one can choose the number of stocks/time at the top-right of the screen. Pressing the left and right arrows will add or subtract time/stocks. But that's not the trivia. ''DYK... That holding '''A''' on top of the number itself lets you tilt [the analog stick] left and right to add/subtract time/stock in Brawl's Versus mode?'' {<span style="color:#800080;"><u>''[[User:Espyo|Espyo]]''</u></span>[[User_Talk:Espyo|T]]} 08:38, December 16, 2009 (UTC)
:Hmm…I've known this ever since June of when I first got Brawl, and it's more of general knowledge of how the Vs. selection screen works than it is not-well-known gameplay mechanics. ==I got one==
I'm a lowly IP, meaning I can't directly edit the page, but I got a really good one. On the underground part of the Mushroomy kingdom stage all CPU's, even if they're level 9s and items are turned off, will constantly attack the blocks. == Characters tumble when entering a mid-air door ==
I mean, seriously? Who doesn't know this already? About 25% of the [[Subspace Emissary]]'s doors are in mid-air, and you can clearly see that the characters enter their tumbling animation. The only ones who don't know about this are likely the only ones who never even played Brawl. Even if not many people know, this fact isn't very interesting to begin with.
Also, the section on the Main Page hasn't been changed in ages. Every once in a while, I like to check the Wiki just to see if I can spot some really neat tidbits of trivia. For the last ~4 months, it always had the some ones. Can't we add a randomizing function like certain Wikias have (<nowiki><choose> <option>(...) <option>(...) </choose></nowiki>). It's not always easy to make it work right, but it's better than nothing. {<span style="color:#800080;"><u>''[[User:Espyo|Espyo]]''</u></span>[[User_Talk:Espyo|T]]} 14:56, April 19, 2010 (UTC)

OK. A player lies down. Another player attacks with a low attack. The player who lied down gets more upwards knockback than when it isn't lying down. [[User:ShupaRoeh|<font color="red">'''Shupa'''</font><font color="blue">'''Roeh'''</font>]] 00:46, 3 May 2012 (EDT)
:I believe you're misinterpreting the "bouncing while lying down" animation as "leaving the ground and re-landing", which is not the case. If lying down characters took any upwards knockback they would leave the ground and immediately stop lying down. ::This is very game-dependent. SSB64 halves damage when lying down, so less knockback. Brawl has the aforementioned "flop" animation for when lying down and knockback is below a certain level. :::It appears you did not understand what I said so I will clarify. Characters do not take extra knockback when lying down. From what you have given, it appears that what you call "more upwards knockback" is actually a unique animation used when a character lying down is hit with attacks that produce a certain range of knockback. ==Perfect shielding with the shield up==
As seen [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRLld1mNSEw here], it's possible to perfect shield with the shield already up in Melee. As explained by RysselSmash, "if you shield a projectile during frames 3~4 ( when you can powershield physical attacks but not projectiles) and keep your shield up, the next physical attack will be PS'd if no projectile hit the shield in between." I'm not adding this one right away because it may need a small bit of further investigation. I say this because we know that Yoshi is able to perfect shield with the shield up randomly. Maybe this has something to do with it, but it works differently for Yoshi? [[User:Espyo|Espyo]] ([[User talk:Espyo|talk]]) 10:31, 15 April 2012 (EDT)
:This is good information, but I don't know how well it would integrate into the DYK section.  Generally, information that can be presented concisely is best for this kind of section, as it's intended to draw potential readers further in from the Main Page.  This is great information for the Perfect shield page.  [[User:Clarinet Hawk|Clarinet Hawk]] <small>([[User talk:Clarinet Hawk|talk]] · [[Special:Contributions/Clarinet Hawk|contributions]])</small> 10:50, 15 April 2012 (EDT)
==Primid Speed==
Did you know the [[Primid]] runs as fast as the character it puruses? [[User:ShupaRoeh|<font color="red">'''Shupa'''</font><font color="blue">'''Roeh'''</font>]] 20:04, 6 May 2012 (EDT)
:I find it hard to believe that  Primids can run slower than Jigglypuff and can accelerate to speeds as fast as Sonic. They simply have a chasing speed that is faster than several characters, not all. <span style="font-family:Forte">[[User:Megatron1|<span style="color:maroon">Mega</span>]][[User talk:Megatron1|<span style="color:silver">Tron1</span>]][[User:Megatron1/Laughology|<span style="color:blue">XD</span>]]</span>[[File:Decepticon.png|19px|:p]] 00:06, 12 May 2012 (EDT)
::I was gonna say that, but forgot. Also, there's the fact that they have different speeds in different difficulties, right? [[User:Espyo|Espyo]] ([[User talk:Espyo|talk]]) 07:54, 12 May 2012 (EDT)
:::I think this applies to Intense only. [[User:ShupaRoeh|<font color="red">'''Shupa'''</font><font color="blue">'''Roeh'''</font>]] 10:25, 12 May 2012 (EDT)
::::It doesn't. They only get faster. If you're going to test running speeds of Primids, can you use fast characters? I don't see how in the world a Primid can run as fast as Sonic when 30 seconds of testing would reveal that they run much slower than him. Your theory has been proven false, and unless you provide much more specific circumstances, it will remain false. <span style="font-family:Forte">[[User:Megatron1|<span style="color:maroon">Mega</span>]][[User talk:Megatron1|<span style="color:silver">Tron1</span>]][[User:Megatron1/Laughology|<span style="color:blue">XD</span>]]</span>[[File:Decepticon.png|19px|:p]] 12:46, 12 May 2012 (EDT)
::::Mega, in intense, the primid runs as fast as sonic (in intense). saw it with my own eyes. really, i did. [[User:ShupaRoeh|<font color="red">'''Shupa'''</font><font color="blue">'''Roeh'''</font>]] 22:02, 14 May 2012 (EDT)
:::::Provide a stage in which they do so. Primids in both the Great Maze and Midair Stadium fail to go faster than Sonic while he runs. <span style="font-family:Forte">[[User:Megatron1|<span style="color:maroon">Mega</span>]][[User talk:Megatron1|<span style="color:silver">Tron1</span>]][[User:Megatron1/Laughology|<span style="color:blue">XD</span>]]</span>[[File:Decepticon.png|19px|:p]] 22:31, 14 May 2012 (EDT)
