It features over 100 new species of Pokémon and a new region called Hoenn. Third generation Pokémon Gulpin, Metagross, Kyogre, Latios, Latias, Groudon, Deoxys, Jirachi, Gardevoir , and Torchic randomly come out of the item: Poké Ball in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Along with these, there are also many first, second, and fourth generation Pokémon appearing.
