:::Oppose, because they're not relevant to Smash regardless of the design difference. It'd be like uploading art of Link from Skyward Sword, or Red from Pokemon Masters; it hasn't appeared in Smash, so it's unnecessary. The costumes and Mii designs are unmistakably from Let's Go, so that's the only source we need. ~ <span style="color: #e68;">Serena Strawberry</span> (talk) 21:10, September 20, 2019 (EDT)

::::Still, if we have set a rule, we should adhere to it as much as we can; it won't really be consistent having the most accurate origin image for the majority of the characters on the wiki except the Mii Costumes. Also, if we treat costumes like characters, then I don't see how they're not relevant. I'm probably playing more of a (not sure if it's the right connotation) devil's advocate at this point, but it's still something I believe should be considered. :::::Skyward Sword Link and Pokémon Masters Red don’t appear in Smash, and neither does Let’s Go Rocket Grunts. “Mii Designs” have nothing to do with the costumes themselves. The “Miis” being of Let’s Go has no baring on the fact the costumes are based on FireRed and LeafGreen, just like Pokémon Trainer. Miis themselves do not determine what the costumes are based on. The Miis used in the presentation are referencing Let’s Go, but the hair isn’t included in the costume. If they were, then it would have been Let’s Go. The art is different, and different enough for it to be changed so that it matches what is used in Smash. Which, according to CookiesCream, is a set rule. Aren’t we suppose to follow those? ::::::Ok, maybe "set" isn't the best way to describe it. What I meant is that we should just stay consistent with what we've been doing so far for other characters, and that's use the image that best match a character's appearance in Smash. Then again, I honestly think anything works, but I lean more towards IP's side because of that reason above. (reset indent; apologies for bumping this) The Mii designs are, as far as the wiki's concerned, the official designs for these Mii costumes, due to being used in the various promotional videos and images. This is why we use them on the costume pages, like this one. In theory, the origin images should match these promotional designs as closely as possible. In practice, this is the first time the distinction has come up, because the only other Mii costume based on a generic NPC class rather than a distinct character is Martial Artist. I would say matching the design of the Miis is a higher priority in this case, but if nothing else we can add an image of the FR/LG Rocket designs in the Origin section. ~ <span style="color: #e68;">Serena Strawberry</span> (talk) 15:40, September 24, 2019 (EDT)
:I believe that's a pretty fair compromise. <span style="font-family: Georgia;color: black;">Cookies</span><span style="font-family: Georgia; color: black;">Creme</span> 15:55, September 24, 2019 (EDT)
::But the basis goes in the infobox regardless of the subject. If you disagree, then change it generally. 66.194.104.5 21:01, September 25, 2019 (EDT)
:::Again, I pointed this out to you, we only include additional subject images in the image box if there's a significant design difference (Link, Marth) or if it's a unique character (Wedding Mario, Pikachu Libre). If it's an earlier version of the design that has influence on the current design, it goes in the Origin section. (See Mario, Diddy Kong, King K. Rool, Simon Belmont, Palutena, basically any character page.) This is a consistent rule throughout the wiki. Pay closer attention. ~ <span style="color: #e68;">Serena Strawberry</span> (talk) 21:05, September 25, 2019 (EDT)
Support: I just like how the page looks with image, honestly. I know the wiki's main focus is to inform, not to be pretty, but eh. Plus the design is based off of FR/LG as seen with mainly the stockings, so... An Adventurer draws near! (talk) 14:19, October 4, 2019 (EDT)

Should wee add info about the anime Team Rocket (Jessie, James, and Meowth) on here? 174.55.24.64 17:39, December 17, 2019 (EST)
:No, since they don't have an appearance in Smash itself. <span style="font-family: Georgia;color: black;">Cookies</span><span style="font-family: Georgia; color: black;">Creme</span> 18:02, December 17, 2019 (EST)
::Bump, but Meowth’s page mentions them, why not this one? 174.55.24.64 22:18, June 12, 2022 (EDT)
:::Bump because no one saw what I put yesterday. 174.55.24.64 18:19, June 13, 2022 (EDT)
::::Meowth's page mentions the Team Rocket trio because Meowth's Melee trophy directly references "Meowth's Party", which stars the trio's Meowth. At most, the rest of the trio only have a subtle nod in the "Rocket KO" bonus (which is already mentioned on this article); otherwise, they aren't relevant to Smash. --PeabodySam (talk) 19:08, June 13, 2022 (EDT)
:::::Some pages about characters that aren’t based on their anime roles like Squirtle reference their anime roles, so it’s strange that the most famous Team Rocket isn’t mentioned here. 174.55.24.64 19:14, June 13, 2022 (EDT)
::::::There is a point to be made about Squirtle's page covering the Squirtle Squad, and this page not at least mentioning Jessie and James. I don't really have a preference as to whether or not they're both kept or both not present, but I think that it shouldn't be "one and not the other" (regardless of which "one" it is). <span style="color: yellow;">Aidan</span>, <span style="color: white; text-shadow: 0 0 2px black;">the</span> <span style="color: purple;">Nonbinary</span> <span style="color: black;">Rurouni</span> 00:29, June 14, 2022 (EDT)
:::::::Honestly, I feel like Squirtle's page probably shouldn't cover the Squirtle Squad, seeing as the anime is even less relevant for Squirtle's Smash depiction than it is for Team Rocket or Meowth. I'm of a mind that SmashWiki articles should primarily focus on what's relevant to Smash. But I also won't object if others would prefer that this information stays on SmashWiki. --PeabodySam (talk) 18:55, June 14, 2022 (EDT)
