I think we should have some sort of way of differentiating downloadable characters besides just the note at the bottom, maybe coloring the slot yellow to match the eShop's theme. I do believe that this can be made as a point. While it's true that Fates was out in Japan well before the DLC was, I still firmly believe that the addition of Corrin in Smash was a means of cross-promotion for Fates, at least for Western audiences - the basis of this being that every release outside of Japan was after the DLC's release.
