Heaven's Door
User Kazuya
Universe Tekken

Heaven's Door (ヘブンズドア) is Kazuya's down special move.

Overview

Kazuya does a short hopping uppercut. If he successfully grabbing the opponent, he will fly in his Devil Kazuya form and crashes down to the ground, dealing large damage. Depending on how much damage the opponent has taken, they can "push back" and influence the direction Kazuya flies in.

If the Rage mechanic is activated, it turns into Rage Drive, dealing more damage and causes a Special Zoom effect. The Rage Drive is also used for Dragon Uppercut and his grab.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Move List Kazuya (SSBU) Grab the opponent in front of you and rise upward, then slam them to the ground. This attack ignores an opponent's shield.

Origin

Heaven's Door is a move introduced in Tekken Tag Tournament. It is essentially a follow up to Dragon Uppercut, done by holding the ↗ directional pad after the move, dealing extra 15 damage to the opponent. Due to his absence in Tekken 5, Devil Jin gains access to this move, and has kept it since. From Tekken 5 onwards, it can grab against aerial opponents as well.
