Smash Island is a weekly Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament series (formerly Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and occasionally holding the other Smash games.) currently held every Saturday at a YMCA in Staten Island, New York (3939 Richmond Ave, Staten Island, NY 10312). Currently it is run by SPT, OrbiT, Stretch, and UnclePunch it is also streamed on SI's Ultimate Twitch channel and SI's Melee Twitch channel. The VoDs are later uploaded on SI's YouTube channel. However issues with the venues internet came up and only Melee was able to be livestreamed and Ultimate had to be left offstream. The whole series have also went through different name changes due to different people running the tournaments. Currently it's "Smash Island" but it has originally been called "Shaolin Smash" and "Smash Station" due to different ownerships. The Staten Island Power Rankings is also apart of Smash Island.

- Ricky currently holds the record for "Most Smash Island's Won In A Row" winning 11 Smash Island tournaments in a row.
- Frozen currently holds the record for "Most Variety of Smash Games Won" winning Super Smash Bros. Melee singles, Super Smash Bros. Melee doubles, Project M singles, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U singles, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U doubles, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate singles, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate doubles.
- The Staten Island representative for the New York City Power Rankings panel is SPT.
- Four people so far from Staten Island have been ranked on the New York City Power Rankings that being (from order in getting on), Zorai, Frozen, Freelancer Leo, and Zomba. Zorai and Freelancer Leo have only been ranked once and that was in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U while Frozen has been ranked in both games multiple times and Zomba has only been ranked in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate but he has been on it multiple times.
- The only player who has been globally ranked so far from Staten Island is Frozen, who was formerly ranked 13th on the PMRank 2016 and formerly 46th on the Spring 2019 PGRU.
