Do you people make any money? SeanWheeler (talk) 21:53, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

- Wikia does make money. That's how they can afford to give people free wikis. Toomai Glittershine The Table Designer 23:58, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

Edit the mainspace[edit]
Hi, I noticed that according to your edit count, you've mainly been making forum edits (that includes Smash Arena votes). While doing this is acceptable, if you focus on it excessively without making much of an effort to contribute to the mainspace, you'll be put on probation. Thanks, Scr7 =D 11:22, 26 August 2013 (EDT)
- I don't think it's much of a problem, because he has only voted twice in the Smash Arena and hasn't been very active. Looking at a user's contributions is a better way to determine this than editcount. Awesome Cardinal 2000 16:32, 26 August 2013 (EDT)
Linking[edit]
Thank you for your recent edits. Just a style note: links in text of trophies and the original SSB character descriptions should usually go to the general character pages, rather than specific game subpages. Miles (talk) 15:31, 31 August 2013 (EDT)
That infobox[edit]
I'm curious, what were you trying to do to it? Toomai Glittershine The Cloronic 12:38, 16 August 2014 (EDT)
- I was trying to make it incorporate the confirmed final smashes from Smash 4. Like Luigi's Polturgust 5000. But everytime I try, the Final Smash didn't show up, not even on the Brawl pages. Do you know how to do what I was trying to do? SeanWheeler (talk) 12:33, 17 August 2014 (EDT)
- I think I found out why it didn't show. Xx is set as a default value for each switch statement. Because Xx does not have an associated item, it failed to find it in the list, so the value returned is a null. I just performed a test using preview, using Bowser and ssb4 as test variables, and it does work. Berrenta (talk) 13:36, 17 August 2014 (EDT)
- Checked a few character pages after finally implementing the changes, and got it to work! Another thing I overlooked was that SSB4 had to be converted to lowercase in order to work. Fortunately, we have {{lc:}}, which sets all letters to lowercase, so that problem is solved. Berrenta (talk) 17:22, 17 August 2014 (EDT)
Dude[edit]
Use Image copyright tags. Especially when you're uploading 50 images at once.
If you don't want to read the page, just remember to add {{fairuse}} and Category:Trophies (SSB4) to all of the images you're uploading right now, and read the page later. Qwerty (talk) 15:21, 20 September 2014 (EDT)
- Sorry, rushing. SeanWheeler (talk) 16:25, 20 September 2014 (EDT)
April Fools stuff[edit]
You don't appear to be following our rules about April Fools. The one that sticks out to me right now is this "don't do":
- "Short, nonsensical trivia points or sentences which are notoriously difficult to find and remove without scrutiny of the Recent Changes."
I suggest you read the rules and conduct yourself appropriately, and remember that it is your responsibility to fix your work. Toomai Glittershine The Producer 11:52, 1 April 2018 (EDT)
- What? All I did was add a little comment to a joke trivia point and change Shulk's name. SeanWheeler (talk) 11:58, 1 April 2018 (EDT)

This trivia point[edit]
When I added that trivia point, what I meant to say was that Min Min has the shortest duration of any character who made their general Smash series debut as an NPC before becoming a fighter. I really should've made that clear in the first place.
Anyway, I didn't revert your revert because I don't want to get an edit war warning. SuperSmashTurtles of the Turtle Tribe 19:55, June 25, 2020 (EDT)
- I don't think that trivia point is that notable anyway. It's really confusing, especially when you have to be a lot more specific than how it was actually worded. SeanWheeler (talk) 21:19, June 25, 2020 (EDT)
