On May 31st 2020, where netplay tournaments were popular due to the covid-19 outbreak, Liquid entered the tournament Smash for Minneapolis Relief (https://smash.gg/tournament/smash-for-minneapolis-relief/events) where he would enter his secondary in the making, Roy. There is strong speculation that the influence of Zain's recent performance taking a major netplay tournament with Roy had an impact on this decision, as well as both players' competencies in dashing back and grabbing opponents near the corner. Liquid entered the tournament under a different alias, known as "imyourroy", which would cause discussion and viewers in the twitch chat on who this hero was. imyourroy would lose to local smash celebrity, Quiggles in round 2 but then go on a loser's run of a lifetime. In his run, he managed to defeat wally, Ligma, Erik, and come to a close and nail-biting game 5 with PR player Rabbit. Rabbit, was initially cautious and alert about who this fire wielding vagrant was.
