Article on Fire Emblem Wiki Tiki

Tiki (チキ, Tiki) is a recurring character in the Fire Emblem series.

Origin

Tiki attacking in her dragon form from Fire Emblem Awakening.

Introduced as a child in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, Tiki is a manakete - a race of dragonkin who are able to shapeshift between humanoid and dragon forms - belonging to the divine dragons, the most powerful manakete clan. She is the daughter of the clan ruler Naga, who is regarded as a god in many human cultures. In her infancy, she was sealed asleep by Naga before her death to prevent her from degenerating along with the rest of the dragonkin. She was later awakened by the fire dragon Bantu, who travelled the world with her. When Marth first encounters her, she has been separated from Bantu, hypnotized by the sorcerer Gharnef and forced to defend the Fane of Raman. Once Marth and Bantu save her, she joins Marth's army and forms a close friendship with him.

The sequel story in Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem reveals that after the war ended, the sage Gotoh took Tiki far away to a frozen temple and returned her to her endless sleep. Gotoh gives Marth the task of reuniting the five missing orbs from the Fire Emblem shield which, in addition to restoring its ability to protect the world from a tribe of sealed evil dragons, would also protect Tiki from the risk of degeneration. When Marth reaches the temple and has made enough progress finding the orbs, Gotoh allows Tiki to awaken and help Marth's cause again. When the war ends, Tiki takes up residence in the Archanean capital with Marth and his wife, Caeda.

In Fire Emblem Awakening, set thousands of years later, Tiki returns as an adult. She now lives in the continent of Valm, across the sea from Archanea, where she is revered as an oracle to Naga and known as the "Voice". During their war against Emperor Walhart, Tiki is visited by Marth's descendants Chrom and Lucina, as well as their tactician Robin. She gives them the task of once again finding and reuniting the five orbs with the Fire Emblem, so that they can perform the rite of Awakening and gain the power to stop Grima. She later joins their army after absorbing some of Naga's power. Meanwhile, The Future Past downloadable content series explores an alternate reality where after Naga's death, Tiki takes her place.

Tiki's child and adult forms both appear in the spinoff Fire Emblem Heroes, while her child form appears in two other spinoffs: Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE and Fire Emblem Warriors. Her adult form appears as an NPC in Project X Zone 2.

In Ultimate, Tiki appears as she does in Awakening, yet strangely breathes fire closer to her original appearance in Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light.

Tiki
Tiki resides in Valm as the Voice of the Divine Dragon. You might be surprised to learn that she is 3,000 years old. As befitting one from the Divine Dragon tribe, she has a very calm demeanor...but every so often, she'll show her youthful spirit.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

As an Assist Trophy

Tiki is a Manakete, a race of dragonkin. While she usually stays in human form, she can transform into a fire-breathing dragon using the power of a Dragonstone. She doesn't look it, but Tiki is actually over 1,000 years old.

Tiki is as Assist Trophy in Ultimate, in her adult form from Awakening. When summoned, she says "This might get unpleasant!" and uses her dragonstone to turn into her dragon form, then breathes fire across the stage to attack opponents. When departing, she will say "Sleep well!". She is one of the many Assist Trophy characters that can be KO'd. Her voice clips are taken from Fire Emblem Heroes. Training Mode describes her Assist Trophy: Transforms into a dragon and breathes fire. She cannot be summoned on King of Fighters Stadium.

Spirits

Tiki's younger self in Shadow Dragon also appears as a Spirit in World of Light. To get her spirit, the player must defeat Marth on Spear Pillar while the Tiki Assist Trophy assists Marth in attacking the player. This references her role in the original Fire Emblem game as part of Marth's army after the Hero-King rescued her. She can be enchanced into her adult self from Awakening.
