The Kansai Battle Rankings, Kansai Ranking Battles, or Kansai Melee Battle Road Ranking Battles (関西スマブラDXバトルロード Melee ランキングバトル) otherwise known as the de facto Japanese Melee Power Rankings are a series of rankings for Melee players in Japan. The rankings are derived from placements at the Sumabato DX Melee tournaments and exclude results from other tournaments, so in some sense they cannot really be thought of as power rankings in a strict sense. Two rankings are released a year.
