Controversy
The set between Marss and Wishes proved to be very controversial. During Game 5, Marss got out of his chair to consult a tournament organizer while his character was still on the revival platform and Wishes ended up taking his last stock [1]. Marss had complained that Wishes had been receiving coaching from Pazda who was in the crowd [2], and a decision was made to replay Game 5 from when Marss got out of his chair. Marss won the replay and advanced on in bracket while Wishes was sent to losers. This set led to discussion in the Smash community about what constitutes coaching and how to handle it when it occurs.
