*a tomato or an octopus statue which act as solid obstacles. They appear suddenly on a platform and slowly sink into it until they fall down. Characters hit by them while they fall take 20% damage. Attacking the tomato enough makes it break into pieces, while attacking and/or standing on the octopus statue makes it sink faster. If they fall on Dungeon Man's head, the tomato breaks, while the octopus statue will just abruptly disappear.

[[Flying Man|Flying Men]] sometimes appear on the right platform, in front of the shell-shaped house. If a character walks by him, the Flying Man will fight alongside them, akin to an Assist Trophy. The Flying Man can be defeated by other characters by knocking him off the stage or inflicting enough damage (if the latter happens, the Flying Man lies on the ground, flashes and disappears): following this, a small tombstone spawns in the background, in front of the house; after some time, another Flying Man will spawn in the same location, repeating the process. After five Flying Men have been defeated, they will not spawn for the rest of the match.
