Dark Pit is Pit's echo fighter. His abilities are mostly the same as Pit's, but his hair and clothes are different colors, he summons different weapons, and celebrates victory to a different tune.

Dark Pit (ブラックピット, Black Pit) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He was confirmed as a playable character on June 12th, 2018. He is an Echo Fighter of Pit. Antony Del Rio once again reprises his role as Dark Pit in the English version of the game.

Differences from Pit

Aesthetics

  • Change Dark Pit has different taunts and victory animations from Pit (although his taunt frames are identical)

Special moves

  • Change Dark Pit's arrows from his Silver Bow have different properties)
    • Buff Silver Bow's arrows travel slightly faster, especially when uncharged, and deal more damage than Palutena Bow.
    • Nerf Silver Bow's arrows do not persist for as long, and cannot be easily controlled.
  • Change Electroshock Arm deals electrical damage, and launches at a lower trajectory compared to Upperdash Arm.

Aesthetics

  • Change Dark Pit retains his Kid Icarus: Uprising appearance. His clothing and wings now feature simple detailing, and like Pit, his eyes and hair appear more detailed.
  • Change Dark Pit's down and side taunts are performed faster.

Attributes

  • Buff Like all characters, Dark Pit's jumpsquat animation now takes three frames to complete.
