Purple Guy (formerly known as ScaryLB59 or Ed) is a smasher from Florida who mains Zelda and Sheik in both Brawl and Smash 4. He is considered to be among the best Zelda players in the world for both games. Purple Guy is currently ranked 9th on the Smash 4 South Florida Power Rankings.
On April 18th, 2017, Purple Guy announced the birth of his son and his temporary retirement from competitive play.
