Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4
Aesthetics
- Stone has been given some new items to transform into, some of them outside of the Kirby series, such as a treasure chest found in Breath of the Wild's shrines.
- When Kirby gains a new Copy Ability, he briefly poses like he does in his home series. This animation can be canceled.
- Likewise, he has a pose for removing a copy ability.
- Kirby's cap for Zelda has been changed from her wimple she wore in Ocarina of time, to a hairstyle matching her new A Link Between Worlds inspired look
Standard attacks
- Kirby's dash attack has reverted to its Melee iteration, where Kirby does a tackle identical to the "Burning" copy ability. It no longer goes off of ledges and is stronger than his previous dash attack.
- Forward smash sends Kirby further, improving its range.
- Down smash has increased range.
Special moves
- Stone has a faster startup.
- Hammer KOs even earlier when fully charged.
