Kirby (カービィ, Kirby) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He was confirmed on June 12th, 2018.

Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4

Aesthetics

  • Change Stone has been given some new items to transform into, some of them outside of the Kirby series, such as a treasure chest found in Breath of the Wild's shrines.
  • Change When Kirby gains a new Copy Ability, he briefly poses like he does in his home series. This animation can be canceled.
  • Change Kirby's cap for Zelda has been changed from her wimple she wore in Ocarina of time, to a hairstyle matching her new A Link Between Worlds inspired look

Standard attacks

  • Change Kirby's dash attack has reverted to its Melee iteration, though it no longer goes off of ledges.
