Pac-Man (SSBU)

Pac-Man (パックマン, Pac-Man) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4

Ground attacks

  • Change Pac-Man has a new up tilt, a quick upwards punch. It appears to have more vertical range but less horizontal.

Throws/other attacks

  • Buff Pac-Man's grab appears to have significantly less ending lag.

Special moves

  • Change Pac-Man's afterimages when using Power Pellet now go from yellow to orange and then red. Pac-Man also flashes white and red after eating the power pellet.
  • Change Pac-Man's Final Smash, Super Pac-Man, has been changed. Pac-Man still transforms into a two-dimensional sprite, but the move behaves entirely differently. Pac-Man instead moves in straight paths across the screen, disappearing off-screen and reappearing on the opposite side of the screen. He still damages and launches any enemy he makes contact with, and launched enemies still turn into floating eyes.

Trivia

  • Pac-Man's stock icon is his iconic 2D form.
