Tapion is a Captain Falcon player from Wisconsin. Though once widely acclaimed as the best player in Wisconsin, Tapion has not done much in terms of traveling and competing in larger, higher-level tournaments. He is a smasher rumored to ask the tough questions from time to time. Tapion made his name known through the coining of the term "Tapion Punch"- a combo using the Falcon Punch as a finisher. He changed his main to Fox after a tournament at Whitewater where he made a 2-set comeback against Jazzness with Fox. This sudden (albeit temporary) change upset Jiano, another well-known Captain Falcon player. Recently, Tapion has competed in tournaments with his Captain Falcon in both Melee and Project M.
Tapion does not play Brawl anymore but was once a leader of the Fatal 5. He used to play Brawl+, but currently plays Project M.
Tapion was previously ranked 1st on his region's Super Smash Bros. Brawl Power Rankings, and is currently ranked 1st in the Wisconsin Power Rankings.
Tapion also plays netplay under the alias "bloodhawk" and has been in the top 15 on the netplay smash ladder.
Isai, Are You Watching?
In 2006, Tapion released a Captain Falcon combo video titled Isai, Are You Watching? It has since gathered over 194 thousand views, and was even watched by Isai himself. The success of the video led YouTube user Seph05 to create a Brawl video modeled after the same combos in Tapion's original video.
