Please think about why someone would have marked it with a tag at all. Some of the smasher pages that had cleanup tags were clearly stubs, lacking content or tournament links. Never remove them just because the person who added it didn't include a reason. If the lack of a reason bothers you, read the page and put the reason in yourself, don't remove the tag from a page that legitimately needs cleanup.
