MLG New York Playoffs 2006 also known as MLG Manhattan 2006 was a Super Smash Bros. Melee national tournament held by Major League Gaming in New York City, New York, during October 13th-14th, 2006. It was the sixth tournament in the MLG 2006 circuit.

The most notable set of the tournament occurred between Ken and Azen in Winners Quarters. Ken had a 2-1 lead in the set, when in game 4 Azen overcame a 3-stock deficit to win. Azen then won game 5 in a decisive fashion to take the set. This set was the second time in their rivalry that Azen beat Ken in tournament (after MLG Atlanta 2005) and remains the only time that Azen defeated Ken en route to winning a tournament. After his loss to Azen, Ken lost to Mew2King resulting in a 7th place finish, his lowest ever at a MLG event.
