'''HKSBC Winter Special 2023''' was a ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]'' arcadian tournament held in Hong Kong, on December 23rd, 2023. This tournament had Newcomer's Challenge for the main event and 3v3 Draft Squad Strike for the side event.


Newcomer's Challenge was an arcadian made for newcomers and players up to mid-level. Players who placed in Top 8 in the {{Trn|HKSBC Gold Rush|series}} #1-6 were not eligible for the event.  
In Newcomer's Challenge, players who ever made Top 8 in the {{Trn|HKSBC Gold Rush|series}} #1-6 are banned. Let Newcomer's Challenge became a event for newcomers and players up to mid-level.


All players were allowed to enter the 3v3 Draft Squad Strike. Before stage striking, each player was given 2 character bans which applies to both players in the whole set.  
In 3v3 Draft Squad Strike, each player can ban 2 characters each match. Let 3v3 Draft Squad Strike designed to test the player character pool.


The top 2 players in each event would be given a free pass to {{Trn|HKSBC Gold Rush Finale}}.
Also, the top 2 players in each event will win a free pass to {{Trn|HKSBC Gold Rush Finale}}.
