'''Tecnobar 1''' was a tournament held by Super Smash Bros. Argentina, featuring singles for {{forwiiu}}, being the first tournament in [[Tecnobar (series)|Tecnobar series]]. It was the first tournament for the [[Argentina Power Ranking]] so it couldn't be seeded by skill. That resulted in several top players like {{sm|Gado}}, {{sm|MRDJ}} and {{sm|Joaco}} meeting early in the tournament. A big upset was that MRDJ despite being considered a title contender was eliminated in early in the tournament, failing to win a single match, first knocked to losers round by Gado, and later eliminated from the tournament at the hands of {{sm|Tyf}}.
'''Con Comics 2014''' was a tournament held by the international comics and videogames convention Con Comics, featuring ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'' singles for the first time. In previous years ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]'' tourneys where held at the event, so many of the entrants weren't familiar with ''Melee''. There was a big gap of skill between the first 3 places and the rest of the entrants, since {{Sm|Fullen}}, {{Sm|Blip}} and {{Sm|Anop}} are the best ''Melee'' players currently living in Cordoba, Argentina.
 
There were many unexpected problems with the tourney, the biggest being the console the staff brought broke hours before pools started, so a group of players took a cab to their house and back to bring a new console.
