'''Apex 2022''' is an upcoming ''Super Smash Bros.'' tournament that will feature every game in the series. It is the 8th tournament in the {{Trn|Apex}} series and the first tournament in the series since {{Trn|Apex 2016}} six years ago.

Although previous Apex tournament organizers have discussed about a new iteration of Apex, nothing came out of it until March 2022, where it was announced that Apex would return on November 20th-22nd, be run by {{Team|VGBootCamp}}, be a Gold-tier stop on the [[Smash World Tour 2020]]. However the [[COVID-19 pandemic]] postponed the tournament, and it was pushed back to 2022, where it became a Gold-tier stop on the [[Smash World Tour 2022]]. Additional events include the return of the Salty Suite as well as a ''[[wikipedia:Multiversus|Multiversus]]'' event.
