==Origin==
{{pkmn|Tapu Koko}} is an Electric/Fairy-type Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation VII, and is categorized within the Pokédex at #785 as the "Land Spirit Pokémon". It is the Guardian Deity of Melemele Island in Alola, and is featured prominently in the story of ''Pokémon Sun and Moon'' and ''Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon''.

Its attack resembles {{iw|bulbapedia|Discharge|move}}.

Tapu Koko appears as a [[Poké Ball]] Pokémon. When summoned, it uses Discharge and Electric Terrain and unleashes a large net of electricity around itself, dealing multiple hits to opponents. It also periodically shoots out beams of electricity in the cardinal and intermediate directions.

On most stages, Tapu Koko has a spawn chance of {{Fractions|12|1463}} from Poké Balls and {{Fractions|32|842}} from Master Balls. It has a modified spawn weight on the following stages (actual chances may vary based on changes to other Pokémon):
*Master Balls 32 → 40: [[3D Land]], [[75m]], [[Kalos Pokémon League]], [[Prism Tower]], [[The Great Cave Offensive]], [[Tomodachi Life]], [[Unova Pokémon League]], and [[Wrecking Crew]].
*Master Balls 32 → 60: [[Pokémon Stadium 2]].
