== Why so much hate on the 3ds version ==

It is actually better than the wii u, with three new exclusive game modes. I think the wii u one will be  an sverage game despite more initial promotion than the 3ds version. It's a thing though with cross console games. Exactly what happened with Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games. The wii one was more promoted, but the ds had more gameplay modes and all. Looks like the case here.

There's a demo for the game currently available at a mall somewhere in Tokyo. This demo has revealed some new information (most from the ESRB leak), including PictoChat returning as a stage and Alph from ''Pikmin 3'' being four of Olimar's alternate costumes (in a similar manner to how Lucina was originally going to be a Marth alt - the announcer even calls Alph's name). To avoid an edit war, this is in regards to the recent [[Special:Diff/1626411|back and forth]] about the "first and currently only" phrasing on a couple trivia points. I'd say that the IP is in the right for removing that phrase because this page is "currently [the] only" page that uses it, so it isn't really needed.
