:It happens if you pass someone using a token depicting a character you do not have. Thus, it's not a glitch. Then again, are you sure you have everyone, including the currently released DLC fighters? [[User:Berrenta|Berrenta]] ([[User talk:Berrenta|talk]]) 23:55, 19 July 2015 (EDT)
::I've heard reports of this happening to other people who haven't bought the DLC characters on the 3DS version. Looks like the StreetSmash token is one of the few things actually downloaded by buying the character that isn't in the base update.
