I'm pretty sure that when you place a sticker on a trophy stand, you have just used that one sticker that you have. Removing it means that you have lost the sticker and its effects forever. Now, as long as it is on the trophy stand, you still have them, and you can move them on that trophy. Honestly, you shouldn't be able to use them on different save files, no matter what happens.
